Mrs. Jennifer Pentecost Helton

Mrs. Jennifer Pentecost Helton, 74, was a native of Alamance County was born on April 5, 1943. Jennifer was the only child of the late Brown and Ruby Pentecost and a graduate of Southern Alamance High School Class of 1961 and Alamance Beauty School.
 
Jennifer, for many years, was a hair dresser. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking. She served in all aspects of church life by playing the piano at First Baptist Alamance and was later an active member at Bellemont United Methodist Church. 
 
She is survived by her husband, of 54 years, Arthur “Bugs” Helton and her sons their spouses and three granddaughters, Andy and Joan Helton, Emily, Macy; Jon and Jennifer Helton, Addison; and two people she loved as her own Angie Roberson and Dean Coble.
 
The family would like to thank Tina Hart for special care and Hospice nurses and staff members.
 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Chatham Friends Church, 4507 Greenhill Rd., Snow Camp NC, 27349.
