Jeannette Fay Terrell

Jeannette Faye “Jenny” Terrell, 66, of Burlington died at her residence on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Chester Leon Terrell and Lucy Freeman Terrell, both deceased. Jenny was formerly employed in the textile industry. She loved celebrating and decorating for holidays and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include three daughters, Kym Poteat and husband Linnell of Elon, Holly Mann of Graham and Sherry Mann of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Ashley Poteat of Burlington, Jordan Poteat and wife Shannon of Elon, Tanya Davis and Dalton Davis, both of Mebane, and Malaya Baldwin, Journee Mann and Treshon Baldwin, all of Burlington; six great-grandchildren, Jaedyn, Riley, Chase, Skyler, Brooklynn and Kyndall; two brothers; and four sisters. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.

The funeral service will be conducted at Powerline Church of the Nazarene in Elon on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. by Pastor Jerry Gardner with the family receiving friends from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
