James Earl Williams Jr

James Earl Williams, Jr., 88, passed away at John Knox Village Health Center in Pompano Beach, FL on Thursday morning, January 11, 2018.

A native of Burlington, NC, he was the husband of 61 years to Mary Ann Williams and the son of James Earl Williams, Sr. and Virginia Dare Lineberry Williams, both deceased.

Mr. Williams was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving during the Korean War where he received letters of commendation. He moved to Florida in the 50's,

In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include one son, Earl Williams and wife Sharon of Watkinsville GA; one daughter, Virginia (Ginger) Dare Williams of North Miami, Florida; three grandchildren, Nicholas Williams, Carrie Williams, and Katherine Jackson Williams; one son-in-law, Kevin Jackson; and one great grandchild, Clifford Jackson.  He was preceded in death by a step-mother, Lena Merritt Williams and sister, Joyce Riddle.

A private graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery.
