Grace Holt Sharpe

Mrs. Grace Holt Sharpe, 93, of the Mt. Hermon Community passed away at the Hospice Home on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 3:44 a.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Robert Vance Sharpe and the daughter of Henry Burrell Holt and Jennie Coble Holt, both deceased. Mrs. Sharpe was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and neighbor. She retired from Kayser Roth Hosiery with over 48 years of service and was a longtime member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sharpe is survived by a son, Roger Dean Holt and his wife, Jamie of San Augustine, TX; two daughters, Debbie Sharpe Covington and her husband, Mike of Hillsborough and Susan Sharpe Dixon and her husband, Brack of Haw River; three grandchildren, Dallas Dixon and his wife, Cheryl, Maura Morris and her husband, Rodney and Mitchell Covington; four great grandchildren; and brother, Henry Holt of West Virginia.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Holt.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Amanda Dixson.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
