Glenda (Wall) Lowe

Mrs. Glenda Wall Lowe, 81, of Burlington went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 6:07 p.m. after a brief illness at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

A native of Johnston County, she was the wife of the late James Carlton Lowe and the daughter of Eric Elmo Wall and Annie Moore Wall, both deceased. Glenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was devoted to her Lord and family. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church and former member and choir member at Kimesville Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Barry Lowe of Liberty and James Lowe and wife Melanie of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel Lowe and wife Meridith, McKinnley Lowe Hinshaw and husband Daniel, Madelyn Lowe, Micah Lowe, Jedediah Lowe, Avonlea Lowe and Khallie Ruth; and one great-grandson, Maxwell Lowe. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth E. Wall.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence.

The funeral service will be conducted at Beacon Baptist Church on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Greg Barkman, Rev. Michael Karns and Rev. Robert LaTour. Burial will follow at Dogwood Hill Cemetery assisted by Rev. Uston McKenzie.
