Mrs. Frances William Morris, 91, of Burlington, NC passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
A native of Randolph County, she was the wife of the late Louis Bradsher Morris and the daughter of Thomas Vertie Williams and Lelar Jane Kivett Williams, both deceased.
Frances attended Trinity Worship Center where she taught Sunday School. She loved her animals and traveling with her late husband, Louis. She enjoyed growing flowers and working in her yard, crocheting, and sewing.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Williams Albright; nieces and nephews, Charles Albright and wife Anita, Dana Johnson and husband Mark, Rene Hinson and husband Johnie, Steve McDaniel and wife Faye, and Sue Hackney and husband Landis; and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth McDaniel and Mary Helen Davis.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Johnie Hinson with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. A private family cryptside service will be conducted at the Mausoleum at Alamance Memorial Park at a later date.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers and doctors, and Hospice for the blessings received from their loving care and home healthcare given to Frances. Caregivers were Elana O’Bryan, Kim Ellias, Carol Walker, Angie Ellias, Kristen McDaniel, and Stephanie Ross.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in memory of Frances’ love for animals.
