Mr Felix Miller

Mr. Felix V. “Buster” Miller, 83, of Graham passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 4:35 p.m. at UNC Hospitals at Chapel Hill following two years of declining health.

A native of Rockingham County, he was the husband of 59 years to Viola Perry Miller, who survives and the son of Jerry Martin Miller and Lillie Neal Miller, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired meat cutter with Harris Teeter. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include two sons, Steve Miller and fiancée, Linda Dozier and Craig Miller and wife Susan; one daughter, Renae Knight and husband Tony; six grandchildren, Casey Miller Feerst and husband Joe, Jenny Miller Stones and husband Brett, Molly Miller, Tori Knight Lecky and husband Thomas, Keifer Knight and wife Chasity, and Noah Knight; and five great grandchildren, Charles and Jasper Feerst, Parker and Autumn Stones and Harley Lecky. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary M. Harris and Louise M. Pergerson and nine brothers, Raymond, Paul, Joe, Woodrow, Jerry Bee, Dee Martin, Garvie, Billy Reid and Benford Miller.

The funeral service will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Crowther, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham, NC on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence.
