Donna Bradshaw Boggs

Mrs. Donna Bradshaw Boggs, 75, of Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 27, 2017.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Jeffrey Eugene Boggs and the daughter of Edward Osborne Bradshaw and Mamie Allred Bradshaw, both deceased. Mrs. Boggs was a home healthcare nurse with a licensed practical nursing degree. She was an avid reader and published four times as a writer. She loved to sing and was a great cook. Donna was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Cassandra Robinson of Houston, TX and Tanya Watkins and husband Andy of Burlington; son, Robert H. Robinson, Jr. of Burlington; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be conducted at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery in Liberty, NC at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017 by Pastor Marilyn Rankin. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service on Saturday. Other times they will be at the residence of a daughter, Tanya Watkins.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Piedmont Health Senior Care (PACE) for the extraordinary care given to Donna over the last seven years.
