Don Adrian Wood

Adrian Wood, 68, of Graham died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 12:49 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Carolyn Wood, who survives and the son of Don Elgin Wood and Opie Goad Wood, both deceased. Mr. Wood retired from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Facilities Service Maintenance Department and was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a daughter, Kelly W. Simmons and husband Jimmy of Graham; son, Seth Porter Wood and wife Laura of Randleman; and five grandchildren, Kelsey Ellington, Drew Simmons, Kayden Simmons, Zane Wood and Josie Wood.

A memorial service will be conducted at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Molly White, Rev. Amanda Dixon and Rev. Fred Roberts with the family receiving friends from 2 til 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Other times the family will be at the residence.
