Darla Mae Boggs

Darla Mae Boggs, 59, of Burlington died at her residence on Sunday, October 8, 2017.

A native of Kingman, Arizona, she is the daughter of the late Bobby Earl Boggs, Sr. and the late Wilda May Nevitt Boggs. She was a former manager for a convenience store.

Survivors include three children, Brodie G. Cook, Jr., Robert Earl Boggs-Cook and Michael A. Boggs; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Earl Boggs, Jr. and Alan Keith Boggs, Sr.; three sisters, Treasa D. Howell, Tina M. Firestone and Juanita I. Boggs; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews including Joshua and Jasmine Mitchell who she helped raise. She was preceded in death by one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Walter Jones. Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends at the Haw River Civic Center, 110 Stone Street, Haw River, NC.
