Mr Charles Monroe Greeson

Mr. Charles Monroe Greeson, 79, of Whitsett passed away at the Brian Center in Yanceyville on Friday, November 17, 2017at 2:45 a.m.

A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of Geraldine P. Greeson, who survives and the son of John H. Greeson and Elizabeth Gerner Greeson, both deceased. Charles was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ in Whitsett.

Mr. Greeson is survived by his wife, Geraldine of the home; granddaughter, Brandy Robinson and her husband, Mark of Wentzville, MO; three grandchildren, Isaak, Kelby and Ryann; step daughter, Dawn M. O’Neal of the home; step son, Mark McIntyre, Jr. and his wife, Renee of Myrtle Beach, SC; five step grandchildren, Megan O’Neal Kirby and her husband, Josh, Cameron O’Neal, Hanna O’Neal, Brandon McIntyre and Sammy McIntyre; two step great grandchildren, Trey Alston and Calia Kirby; and brother, Larry Greeson and his wife, Marie of Whitsett.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham is assisting the family.
