Carolyn Dawn Moore

Mrs. Carolyn Willis Moore, 70, of Burlington, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at her residence after several years of declining health.

A native of Alamance County, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Alvin T. Willis and the late Rebecca Perkins Willis Johnson.

Mrs. Moore worked for CCB for 20 years before retiring from Accounts Payable at Elon University. She was a member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church in Burlington and also The Shag Club. Carolyn was a loving mother and friend.

Survivors include her son, Jason Moore of Burlington; a brother, Richard Willis and his wife, Patsy of Burlington; and several cousins.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 17, from 9:45 to 10:45 am at Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the Rich and Thompson Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. David Grinnell. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
