S. Lloyd Carter

A native of Reidsville, North Carolina, Lloyd and his wife, Ethel Ann Carter, currently reside in Burlington. They have 2 sons, Wesley and Bryant. Lloyd graduated from the Reidsville City School System and from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Lloyd has actively served his community through various offices at his church. He is a member of the Alamance Rotary Club, having served in all offices, including President and Board member. He is a member of Burlington Masonic Lodge 721 AF&AM, the Burlington Shrine Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary.
James R. Guthrie

A resident of Graham, North Carolina, Jim is married to Amy Wood Guthrie. They have a daughter, Jamie Guthrie Park, and two grandchildren, Braden and Jaecyn. He is a graduate of Graham High School, the Technical Institute of Alamance and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Jim is a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, the Optimist Club of Graham, the Graham Lions Club, where he is a Marvin Jones Fellow for Lions International and a former member of the Graham Jaycees, where he received the Distinguished Service Award and the Man of the Year Award. Jim has also received the Distinguished Service Award presented by the Graham Merchants Association and the Outstanding Citizens Award presented by the City of Graham.
H.M. “Chip” Rhodes

Born in Davidson County, North Carolina, Chip was raised in Burlington where he resides today. He is married to Peggy Jo Durham Rhodes. Chip and Peggy have two children, Kelly and Skipper. They also grandchildren, Taylor, Tori, Bradshaw. Chip is a graduate of Cummings High School and attended Elon College. He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. He is past President and Board member of the Burlington Kiwanis Club. He has served as an Advisory Board member of Alamance County Habitat for Humanity. Chip has been honored with the George F. Hixson Fellowship by the Burlington Kiwanis Club.
Roy Z Glasgow, Jr.

A native of Alamance County, Roy and his wife, Mary Peterson Glasgow, reside in the Village of Alamance. They have two daughters, Emily and Deana. He is a graduate of Southern Alamance High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, where he was the Valedictorian and attended Elon College. He is a member of St. Mark’s Church, Southern High Athletic Booster Club, Past President, Secretary and current Athletic Treasurer for the Alamance Civitan Club and was awarded the Civitan of the Year for three years and received the Club Honor Key in 1996. Roy serves on the Planning Board for the Village of Alamance and is a volunteer with the Alamance Medical Reserve Corps. He is a member of the Burlington Shag Club, Alamance County Wildlife Club and enjoys hunting, fishing and boating.
K. Scott Rhodes

A native of Alamance County, Scott is married to Patricia Brannock Rhodes. They have two children, Delaney and Cameron. Scott is a graduate of Cummings High School in Burlington and Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. He is a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Scott serves as a volunteer for the National Disaster Medical Systems’ DMORT Family Assistance Team.

A native of Alamance County, Chris is married to Susanne Fuqua Rhodes. They have two sons, William Ladd “Will” and Samuel James “Sam”. Chris is a graduate of Cummings High School in Burlington and the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Chris is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington. Chris is an active member of the Alamance Business Association, which assist children with special needs.
Bobby T. Hornaday

A native of Alamance County, Bobby resides in Burlington with his wife Natalie and their two children, Carson and Jackson. Bobby graduated from Cummings High School in Burlington and from the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Bobby is a member of the Lakeview Community Church. Bobby is active as a youth baseball coach in Alamance County.
Thomas W. “Tommy” Brown

A native of Mebane, North Carolina, Tommy is married to Tammy Coffee Brown and has three daughters, Audrey, Brooke and Nicole and one son, Thomas William Brown, II.
They reside in the Village of Alamance. He is a graduate of Eastern Alamance High School and the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of Cross Roads Presbyterian Church. Tommy is a member of the Graham Fire Department.
Rodney Vance Gerringer

A native of Alamance County, Rodney is married to Cindy Knighten Gerringer. They live in Burlington and have two children, Tiffany and Tamera and two grandchildren, Tyson and Alaysia . Rodney is a graduate of Cummings High School in Burlington and the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. In his spare time, Rodney plays bass for Lucky Thirteen and God Rock Taxi.

A native of Alamance County, Don is a graduate of Walter M. Williams High School and The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed funeral director, pre-need counselor and a Forethought Life Insurance agent. He has in excess of 33 years of service with Rich and Thompson Funeral Service. He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington and attends Trinity Worship Center. Don serves on the advisory board of The First National Bank for the Graham and Burlington branches.

A native of Alamance County, Kirk resides in Mebane with his wife Debbie and their son, Nate. Kirk is a graduate of Alamance Christian School and the Funeral Service Program at Fayetteville Technical Community College. He is a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Graham. Kirk has been employed with Rich & Thompson since 1991. He is a North Carolina Funeral Director licensee, a pre-need counselor, a licensed agent with Forethought Life Insurance Company, and a certified crematory operator. He is also an active member of the Swepsonville Fire Department with over eighteen years of service and has served on the Board of Directors for more than eight years.

A native of Burlington, Rita resides in Burlington with her husband Joey and their two children, Jessica and Jarred. Rita is a graduate of Western Alamance High School and Appalachian State University. Extremely active in high school, Rita graduated in the top 10 of her class and received awards from the Choral Department for Supporting Vocalist and the Athletic Department for Girls Basketball. She is a member of the Lakeview Community Church where she is an assistant to the pianist and the choir director. She is Middle School Sunday School teacher.

Paul is a native of Burlington . He is the son of Nelson Richardson and Janice Plumblee. He graduated from Western High School in 2000 and Elon University in 2004 with a BA in Sociology. Paul currently attends Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Paul is treasurer of Phi Sigma Eta Fraternity.
