Mrs. Betty Brady Campbell, 86, of 40 Holmes Way, Elon died at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 12:45 a.m. following a lengthy illness.

A native of Randolph County, she was the wife of Dexter McPherson Campbell, who survives and the daughter of Colon E. Brady and Swanna W. Brady, both deceased. Betty attended High Point College and was a homemaker. She was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Dexter of the home, survivors include her son, Dexter M. Campbell, Jr. and wife Wanda of Cornelius, NC; two grandchildren, Blake Ravin and husband Adam of Davidson, NC and Dexter M. Campbell, III and wife Ann Brown of Raleigh, NC; four great-grandchildren, Gates and Brady Ravin of Davidson, NC and Grace and Maggie Campbell of Raleigh, NC; and one brother, John Blake Brady of Winston-Salem, NC

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia B. Terry and Ann B. Lingerfelt.

A private graveside service will be conducted at Pine Hill Cemetery on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. by Dr. Alan Sasser.
